The 5:55 (pronounced THE-FIVE-FIFTY-FIVE) is an indie-rock band from Washington D.C. The band is comprised of musicians Collin Steves (Vocalist/Guitarist), Kevin Goldman (Lead Guitarist), Max Biskup (Bassist), and Ryan Steves (Drummer/Vocalist). The musicians formed The 5:55 while attending college at Radford University and Virginia Tech. Due to the lack of local music venues the band looked to fraternities and sororities for performance opportunities. They quickly exploded at Virginia Tech and were invited to perform at universities in different states. They now call Washington D.C. home while performing up and down the East Coast.
The 5:55 shared the stage with Jesse McCartney, Black Eyed Peas, Buckcherry, and performed at an Imagine Dragons concert. They've played at the House of Blues, The National, Jiffy Lube Live, Union Square Park (NYC Earth Day Fest), PIANOS NYC, DC9, Baltimore Soundstage and many other venues. Some of the colleges they've performed at include Virginia Tech, Auburn University, University of Tennessee, University of Maryland, and the University of Virginia.
The 5:55 just finished recording their first EP with Producer Austin Bello. The EP is set to release June, 2019 but is available to you above in the media player.
Bello is known for playing bass in the band Forever The Sickest Kids and being signed to Universal Music Group. "Marquee" and "Slow Down" were the singles for the EP and are available now on all streaming outlets.
